2014 – Run ALL THE RACES

I’m on a goal roll lately!

2013’s plan is already pretty much set – I have the Manitoba Marathon coming up in 6 weeks (yikes/YAY!), the Army Run Half Marathon in September followed by the Fall Colours Marathon three weeks afterwards. After that – which will have been 10 months of solid running and training – I believe I am due for a rest. Depending how I’m feeling after my second marathon, I may do the Cookie Run 5km (YES – Girl Guide Cookies!) or the Santa Shuffle, but I plan to take December off, eat everything, and do nothing.

So it’s on to next year! In 2014 I plan to run one race every single month! 5k, 10k, half marathons, full marathons, maybe even an ultra…bring it on! Suggestions are welcome, even if I have already listed something for that month. I will definitely use this as an opportunity to travel to see my friends and relatives in distant places too. Now….what races will I run…..??? The fun begins!!


January – Hypothermic Half

February – The Winterman 5k or Marathon Relay team anyone????

March – St Patty’s Day Race – 5k or 10k

April –

May – Ottawa Race Weekend Full Marathon

June – Perth KILT RUN!! 5 miler…in a KILT!

July –

August –

September – Army Run 5k

October – Twin Cities Full Marathon in Minneapolis

November – Ottawa Cookie Run 10k

December – Ottawa Santa Shuffle 5k
